However, when he gives her the duty of a wife, she reveals that she is the real child and only daughter of Robert and Janaki and asks Raja why he is acting as the grandson of Nagesh and Nambiar. Next to his rented house, which he shares with Charlie, there is a ladies hostel which features Anju Aravind. As she and her group were trying to find a good tune to a song for a contest, Raja indirectly helps her and falls in love while she treats him as a good friend. As he was about to notify Anju Aravind, of his love for her, she notifies Raja of her love for Lawrence. Hearing their plan to marry without their parents consent because of the Robert-Janaki problem, Raja decides to pose as the son of who ran away couple. Now, both Raja and Sangeetha carry out this mission and when he is seen helping out the lovers in their ways of marrying, Anju Aravind's father gets notified of this and so the news as fire, gets spread quickly and both families now think they have run away and want to kill the members of the other. Meanwhile, Raja has rejoined the friendship of the aunts and the grandparents so the uncles and the lovers is his main concern. He does this at once in style. After the marriage, the truth of Raja's appearance is revealed, and when he is asked to marry Sangeetha, he replies a "no" because he only loves Anju Aravind and he can't forget her.

Deva(Vijay) and Bharadhi(Swathi) are two lovers. He's the son of Manorama and brother of Mansur Ali Khan. She's daughter of Sivakumar who is the village head. Manorama is fully in support to her son to get married to Swathe. Sivakumar refuses to give his daughter's hand to him because his brother does not have a good reputation in the village. Also, the MLA supports Radharavi. So, Vijay takes the MLA's daughter and convinces her that her father and Radharavi are not good people. Then she goes home and tape records everything that her dad was taking to Radharavi and escapes. Then on the court day, Vijay decides to go to the court. Then Vijay's step brother goes to the judge and threatens her that if she doesn't support him, he will kill her niece and she accepts it. Then the judge goes to the court. However, Vijay doesn't go to the court. He beats up his step brother. While he beats up his step-brother, the judge supported his step brother. Then, suddenly she supports Vijay. Then she starts crying because her niece will be killed. Then suddenly, Vijay beats up his brother and brings him to the court. So his step-brother was arrested. The judge's niece wasn't killed at all. Then Vijay's friends celebrated.

The Chennai Super Kings has cancelled actor Nayanthara’s role as brand ambassador for the team. The Chennai team of BCCI’s Indian Premiere League had formally embraced the glamour that cinema is believed to bring along by roping in two Kollywood biggies –Vijay and Nayanthara - as its brand ambassadors. But now Nayan is out. “As Ms. Nayanthara is unable to meet the commitments of regular match appearances, the team has now decided to go with a single star ambassador,” said a release from the Chennai Super Kings team yesterday.Vijay, who got such fantastic support from the audiences during the inaugural match on Wednesday, will continue to participate in all ground promotions and match appearances. The question now is: whom will the Chennai Super Kings pick to replace Nayan?

Every child aspires to be a hero, and the road to success is through a school. Pursuing this thought, Agaram Foundation, an NGO formed by Surya is to promote the role of education in the society. In its endeavor to create awareness on school dropouts, Agaram premiered a short film, `Herovaa Zerovaa` at the Ball room of Taj Connemera on Thursday (May 15) in Chennai.‘Actors do have social responsibility. We are here not just to provide some entertainment but also to educate the masses’, said actor Surya.The actor as part of his NGO named Agaram Foundation, has come out with a documentary on special education campaign titled Herovaa Zerovaa, which was launched by State Minister for School Education Thangam Thennarasu in Chennai on Thursday.Speaking on the occasion, the Minister called for efforts to make every child literate. He also called for a ban on child labour and to prevent school drop outs.‘The government can take steps only to certain level, but it is the NGOs, who play a vital role’, he said.The NGO has made a five minute documentary for the Ministry of School Education. It is set to be broadcast in all television channels and cinema-halls so that people are made more aware of child education, the Minister said.The five-minute documentary features actors Vijay, Madhavan, Jyotika and Surya. Directed by Kanda Naal Muthal fame V Priya, it has cinematography by K V Anand and music by Harris Jeyaraj.The short film is supported by online portal Bharatstudent.com. The film explores the sad plight of child labourers, ignorance of parents, disinterest in studies and lack of education for women.Surya in his speech said the aim of his NGO is to support education. The foundation has adopted an Adi Dravidar Welfare School in Palur and Chengalpattu, he added.Actor Sivakumar, director V Priya and secretary of Agaram Foundation Gnanavelu also spoke on the occasion.

Vijay’s next, another remake?

Vijay’s next film, to be directed by prabhu Deva, is slated to be yet another remake. But this time, it could be a remake of the Bollywood blockbuster Soldier which had Bobby Deol and priety Zinda in the lead.The female lead of the probable Tamil version of this movie will be Nayantara. Shooting is slated to take place in New Zealand around June of this year. The news has not yet been confirmed officially.The last time Prabhu Deva and Vijay teamed up for Pokkiri, it turned out to be a big hit. So the expectations will be high this time.

Vijay & family in California!

Our Ilayathalapathy, Vijay after continuous and strenuous shooting schedules for the last six months, has taken a well deserved break. He is holidaying in California with wife Sangeeta and kids Sanjay and Sasha.Vijay is staying with his cousins in Bay area of San Francisco, and generally just chilling out. He has no particular plans other than just laze around, play with kids and do some small shopping. As per plans he will be in US for the next two weeks, a welcome relief from Chennai’s Katri heat wave conditions.Vijay will be back in Chennai on June 6, for the pooja and launch of his new untitled film for Ayngaran, to be directed by Prabhu Deva. Nayanthara is the heroine and others in the cast are Vadivel, Nepolean, Prakash Raj and Biju Menon. The film has music by Devi Sri Prasad and camera by Ravi Varman.
