Thaen Thaen - Udit Narayan

A fast paced melody song, and bit faster than “Aasai Aasai” from Dharani’s Dhool. Dharani seems to love everything fast, even if it is a melody song. Udit Narayan’s Tamil pronunciation effort is better than “Kokkarako” but it seems that he is made to sing this way (other non-Tamil singers sound much better in the same film). Shreya Goshal lives up to her reputation of being one of the most sensational young talents to have been unearthed in recent times by the industry. Excellent usage of the flute in the background adds to the romantic nature of the song. If you feel that bearing Udit might be a little tough, Vidyasagar and Shreya Goshal more than make up for that song with their spirited performance. Vidyasagar shows why he is the king of melodious songs.
